ABC DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS utilize a monoammonium phosphate dry chemical. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting and clinging to the heated surface, smothers and breaks the chain reaction on Class B fires and is a non-conductor of electricity.
